Are Fireworks allowed?

As of July 30th 2011, as a protection to our guests and the facilities, Fireworks of any kind are no longer allowed at Eagle Shores.

Are there TV's and phones in the cottages?

There are no TV's or Phones in the cottages. There is an emergancy phone located at the front desk in the Main Lodge. There is also a large screen TV with a satellite connection in the main lobby.

How large is Garth Lake?

Garth lake is listed at approximately 115 acres. Large enough to ski and tube on. With no public access and mostly summer homes on the lake the lake is never overrun with boats.

What type of fish are in Garth Lake?

Garth Lake has Northern, Walleye, Bass and plenty of nice sized pan fish.

Do you rent motors?

We have one 7.5hp rental motor. Other boat and motor rentals are available at these locations: R&R Rentals (715) 358-5349, Minocqua Sport Rentals (715) 356-4661.

Do you have laundry facilities on-site?

No, if you need to do laundry during your stay there are laundromats in Minocqua nearby.

Can I bring my pets?

We are sorry, though we are pet lovers there are too many potential issues with pets which might affect the enjoyment of other guests and impact the resort facilities therefore we have a no pet policy.

Do you provide bedsheets, pillow cases and towels?

Since we are a housekeeping resort bed sheets, pillow cases and towels are not provided. If you do not have sheets which fit the beds in your cottage or if you would simply rather that we provide them they are available at an additional cost. Towels are not available to rent.

Can I pitch a tent by my cottage?

Sorry but no, we are not a campground and do not allow tents, pop-up campers or rv units to be used for accommodations while staying at the resort.
